A lot of women experience breast tenderness, pain, sensitivity and tingling in early pregnancy. As the pregnancy progresses your breasts may feel warm, heavy, sensitive or even lumpy.
• Wearing a soft cotton, well-fitted bra, with thick-straps, and without under-wiring, may help reduce the symptoms.
• Apply hot or cold flannels to your breasts (or bags of frozen peas!) to alleviate pain and tingling;
• Take plenty of warm baths and showers;
• Wear a bra in bed at night.
